I'm just so touched
that my good friend's younger brother
who is 16 years old
smiled and waved to me
with so much sincerity (lagi lagi bulu mata dia lentik)
that my night was brightened up
even when i was so damn tired
after 8 hours of making steam corn
& saying "one fifty/two fifty"
instead of "sixteen dollars/would you like to redeem your SMART$."
